all is not dead.

wonder.  wait.  abstract synthesis.  float.  raft.  cork.

flee.  (often followed by from or before).  vanish.

 

ice caked boots.  covered in fleece.  sleep in trees.

 

we are looking for the moon—

facile fades.  the constellations become compassionate.

 

beneath the snow are other worlds.
